Yeah, I knew it had to be more hype than it was worth. You knew it too, didn't you? All that talk, all that buzz about the super-secret welcome to the web on your phone supremely peachy Google phone that will sell unlocked and online and destroy the iPhone and all others with its awesomeness is (somewhat unsurprisingly) not available in my country. Canada. Right next door to the Google marketing bitches. Yeah, yeah, someone will probably say they were blocked by the Big 3 cell phone tyrants up this way, or the CRTC, or some other such crap, but the fact remains that they are frickin' Google! They hold the world's information like a ball in their exceedingly roomy pockets -- and you can take that however you like -- if they really wanted it to sell up here, they would have made it happen. 

So Google, F Your Nexus One.

And F the recording industry, the film industry and every other body that blocks an app, service, or whatever else from coming up to Canada or going elsewhere because of licensing issues, fear of the internet, or just plain old annoying ignorance and stupidity.
